Who and where we are

We are your business partner in Berlin and Brandenburg!

We support start-ups, link science with business and promote national and international cooperation. As a public enterprise, we are committed to the promotion of the economic development. We build, operate, and let out technology centres and sell leasehold properties.

The Adlershof Technology Park and the Charlottenburg Innovation Center (CHIC) will soon be joined in Dahlem by the FUBIC innovation campus. We have also taken over site marketing for the Cleantech Business Park Marzahn and are preparing to build innovative business yards at various locations in Berlin.

On behalf of Berlin’s Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, WISTA is also running the business office of the “Zukunftsorte” project.

Adlershof

For over 100 years, Adlershof has been a place vibrant with scientific curiosity and the spirit of innovation. The Berlin Adlershof of today is Germany’s largest science and technology park and among the five largest parks in Europe. Covering an area of 4.6 sq km, it boasts ten non-university research institutes, six institutes of the Humboldt-Universität and 1,200 companies.

Charlottenburg

The CHIC – Charlottenburger Innovations‑Centrum – is the ideal place for business founders in the creative industries and technology. The CHIC is located on the Charlottenburg campus, one of Europe’s largest inner-city university campuses. It offers a thriving network of universities, non-university research facilities, companies, cultural institutions and trade associations.

Dahlem

FUBIC is short for Business and Innovation Center next to Freie Universität Berlin Campus. It will be the centrepiece of a 5-hectare innovation park that is being created next to the Free University campus in Berlin-Dahlem. Once completed, it will be home to up to 80 new companies with 1,000 employees.

Marzahn

The CleanTech Business Park (CBP) covers 90 hectares in the district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and will be Berlin‘s largest industrial park. The focus is on environmentally friendly energies and energy storage, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, recycling management, sustainable water management, material efficiency and green chemistry.
